Spectroscopic testing to establish the age of wooden artifacts is available. Microscopic and macro-photographic test on patinas, corosion and casting core is available to determine the age of bronzes.

Exceptional pieces of African works are not distinguished by age alone, but by the power of esthetic expressions. Such artifacts are not easily found. They are certainly not readily picked up in Africa and imported " by the container".
Most exceptional pieces are part of established collections, and only become available as a consequence of death or other changing circumstances. We specialize in locating theses pieces, and offer them to our customers at the most competitive of prices.
All of our artifacts are genuine, authentic, and of exceptional quality. We make statements regarding age, and or provenance only if they can be substantiated. Accordingly we provide spectroscopic tests, performed by a leading European laboratory, to determine the age of selected valuable wooden artifacts. If our pieces should fail to meet with our customers approval, we will readily accept returns.
