Dogs and Horses-My Loves

I am a retired high school math teacher. I lived in Houston, Texas for fifty years-born and bred. When we both retired, my husband and I moved to Brenham, Texas-yes where they make Blue Bell Ice Cream.
We now live in the country. We have 8 dogs-the worst and the best creatures. They are truly my children since my children are grown and gone. We also have 8 miniature and Shetland horses. We are trying to reduce more, but no buyers. At one time we had over 80 animals, so we have reduced leaps and bounds.
I have MS so I am at home a lot, the reason I started my Ebay store. We love to travel and are always listening to audiobooks. So, I love audiobooks. I also love to needlepoint. I do it to keep me sane. I am now finishing canvases for 3 stores around the country. You know, you put it in the closet after you give up. Well, I finish those canvases. I also do models for needlepoint stores. Why did I start this? When I filled up three curio cabinets, I thought I better find another way to do needlepoint than for myself.

If you want to keep reading, the true love of my life, is my grandson, Payton. He is 8 now, and smart as a whip. I love it when he visits. He loves to play outside. Only tolerates the horses and drives the dogs crazy-it is mutual!
