We know the problems one can experience when buying coins on-line. Our feedback will show that we've won hundreds of auctions. Some were good deals, others were questionable at best. In offering coins to you, we intend to offer the very best information for you to base your buying decisions upon. We will consistently offer an honest personal opinion of the condition of the coins we offer. The pictures featured in the listing will usually be the actual coin(s) being offered. We will typically offer return privileges (except on bulk lots) should a buyer disagree with our assessment of the condition of coins involved in any transaction.EXPERIENCE & FOCUS
We are a private collecting couple who have had the "coin bug" for over 30 years. I am currently semi-retired, while my wife still works part time. Now that I have the time to devote many hours to our "hobby gone wild", we want to share the joys of it with you. We are fortunate to live in an area where we have access to many banks and other sources willing to work with us on accumulating an impressive inventory of offerings. Every coin we collect, and therefore, every coin we will offer to you will be screened and graded by both of us using a 10x optical maginfier. The American Numismatic Association recommends using 3x to 7x magnification, which is used by most certification services. Some numismatic publications have recommended using no magnification whatsoever, stating that magnification may cause one to undergrade their coins. In the interest of offering you the very best deals and the very best quality, we have decided to continue grading under 10x magnification. We would rather have a client happy with our undergrades as opposed to a client unhappy with an overgraded coin. We observe the ANA Grading Standards, on a coin-by-coin basis, as published in the Official ANA Grading Standards handbook. We have looked at and graded over 650,000 coins during our 30 years, and have actually rejected more than 90% of them, simply putting them into circulation. The remaining 10% or so represent an excellent opportunity for you to acquire quality, fairly-graded, fairly-priced coins for your collection. Worry Free - Satisfaction Guaranteed.
