Just a little bit of information goes a LOOONG way!!

AbbingtonMom is a 57 year old Mom of 5 of the GREATEST kids one could ever have been endowed with!!! The ages cover most of the great years of our age! SOOOO that means that Mom has and attic and basement FULL of their things that they've asked (?) to be stored for them - for FREE! WELL, since Mom started BUYING from Ebay 2 years ago - I decided that it was time that I started SELLING on Ebay too!!! (ACTUALLY, my husband of 36 years AND my children have, in NO uncertain terms, suggested that I get rid of stuff before anything else comes in!!) So, I say, Kids watch out and Daddy too, cause Mom is Selling on Ebay!!!!!

I LOVE home decorating! I've been a collector since I was engaged to be married and my husband was in Viet Nam - I was SUPPOSED to be saving my money for our wedding, but.....a good bargain has ALWAYS caught my eye soooo...I bought! Since it was the 70's, I know ALL ABOUT the 70's decor and, I decorated in that style back then and still have the majority of those items too! I tend not to get rid of a thing - I may need it later - and ALOT of the times I DO need it!!!! But I decorate with each room as a different color theme and feel. My kitchen is like Easter - an English feel. My Parlor is High Victorian with lots of reds and golds. My bedrooms are in purples and greens with a Violets theme, I have an Oriental Library in reds, greens, golds, etc. My sons room is in 70's Retro with cool blues, dove gray, black and browns. My daughter's room is in Granny Smith Apple green with animal prints and odds and ends......I like to get old furniture and place it in odd places and with fresh colors.... Over the years, I've COLLECTED EVERYTHING!!!!

I hope this lets you know where I come from - and along with all of this, I have a Grandchild who's 6 and a Black Cat named Tinkerbell (she's ACUTUALLY my daughter's but.. .Mom's you know how THAT goes!) and I MAKE time to read my favorite authors, Christie, Buck, Sue Grafton, Whittney, and all the classics I can get my hands on!
