I am a flintknapper of 13 years experience and like most knappers have tried every tool that came down the pike. I make and sell only the ones that make me and you look smarter sooner. I have been making and selling so many of 'em for so long that I can see 'em in my sleep. And I do warrenty them.  I've even been known to warrenty boppers made by other knappers at knappins across the country.

I stole the bopper pattern from Cole Hurst of central Washington 10 or 12 years ago. Cole only made and used the size 3 bopper. I expanded the line to 5 sizes. All have their fans. At this time I am planning a huge size bopper to add to the set. Some 10 years ago I started selling 'em every where in the states at knappins where I gave free lessons just to show 'em off. Seems that most of the knappin attendants use this style bopper now.

I wrote the book "A Little Of What Makes This Frog Jump" on flintknapping for my students.

I Host the annual Quartzsite Knappin in sunny Quartzsite, Az.

This takes place at 375 East Main St.from 1 Jan thru the end of Feb each year. 2006 will be the 11th year of this party. I give free lessons/demos for two months here almost non-stop.

I am also a collector of rust, tractors and engins. Sometimes I come up with parts and equipment that need to find a new home.
