Hello! Welcome to addys*closet! I am so happy to have the opportunity to introduce myself to you. My name is Kelly, and I live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and two children. I have always loved to shop for great deals on wonderful items for my family. With addy’s closet, I now have found a way to extend my passion for shopping and my uncanny ability to sniff out a bargain and can now pass on my great finds to you!

How did addys*closet begin?
Well…it all really began when I found out I was pregnant with my little girl!!! I had always loved to shop, but I guess I went a little overboard when shopping for my daughter. The truth is I went crazy overboard! By the time she was born, she had 3 closets full of clothes! My husband, my mother, and some friends had suggested that I perhaps had been a bit excessive in my purchases! One day I was standing in one of my daughter’s closets looking at all of the clothes and realized if she wore a different outfit everyday she would still outgrow most of what she had before she could even try it on! I thought to myself... “Hey! I love buying on eBay, so why don’t I try selling on eBay!” In July 2004, I pulled a couple of outfits out of my daughter’s closet, listed them and they sold! So I started buying extras as I found bargains and listing them on eBay. This grew until I started staying up nights and spending my weekends listing and selling. I named my eBay business in honor of my daughter Addison and since it all started in her closet, I thought the perfect name would be “addy’s closet”!!!

Some of my favorite brands to list on eBay include Baby Nay, Baby Lulu, Lilly Pulitzer, Catimini, Gymboree, Hartstrings, Anavini, Strasburg, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and Mullins Square, so if you like these lines…you will more than likely find something you can’t pass up in my listings or in my store! I am constantly finding deals and updating my auctions and store so please add me to your favorites so you can check back frequently! I mostly sell NWT, but I also do list my daughter Addison’s gently used clothing several times per year! My background
I worked for a fortune 500 company for 9 years but after the birth of my daughter I just felt something pulling at my heart to stay home with my children. So back in September 2005 and after one year of juggling my full-time corporate career and my eBay selling, I finally made the decision to become a stay-at-home mom and make addy's closet my new career! Thank you goes to eBay for allowing my dream to come true!
My passion for eBay and addy’s closet
My husband and I attended the 2005 eBay Live annual conference in California. It was out of this world. I met so many buyers and sellers who had the same passion for eBay as myself. During the conference, I overheard my husband telling another eBayer about my passion for eBay and addy’s closet and comparing me to “an alcoholic getting paid to drink”! This conference motivated me to take my eBay selling to a new level. After selling on eBay for almost a year, I opened my eBay store “addy’s closet” in July 2005 in order to continue to grow my eBay business! And after attending the 2006 eBay Live annual conference in Las Vegas, I am now getting ready to launch an external web site, addyscloset.com, to further enhance my business and to keep in touch with my customers!

These lines are AMAZING! I have carefully selected each and every piece with the ultimate goal of presenting you with beautiful and unique clothing for your children!
