A Little About me

I Worked in the Medical Profession for years as a Respiratory Therapist Before Opening up our Store From Past Times Vintage Clothing on E-bay.

I Love to Sell Vintage Clothing Because of the history of the items. Each Dress, Blouse, Piece of Jewelry has a Past life with Precious Memories tied to them. A First Prom, A Wedding, Mourning for a loved one, Rejoicing at a birth. All The stories that I hear are tied to the Items and Make them a Precious Tapestry of our shared humanity.

I Try to live my life Based on the simple phrase "Reverance For Life".  I believe all life is sacred and should be respected and nurtured. Love is the bond that ties us all together. Love without seperation and Boundaries is the goal at least for me.

The Favorite part of My Job is the Most encompassing. Meeting the people. Sitting and listening to an elderly women tell me the story of a first love as she passes her dress onto me . Hugging someone as they Share the loss of a loved one. Each Item holds a tapestry of Love and sorrow, memories cherished and Some regrets. They hold the past and Embrace the future as their passed on creating a new history and New precious memories.   

Charity Works

At Past Times Vintage Clothing Were Trying to Give Back In Our Small Way.

A Portion of The Majority of our sales goes to Feeding America which Supplies Food to the U.S. Food depositories. Hunger is at an all time high and The Food pantries are running low and unable to meet all the demand.

We have a 100 % To charity Category with some cute items and T-Shirts .

Coming Soon is a DIY to Charity Category. We have the support of the Art Institute of Chicago and Thru their Kindness a Room reserved for the artists to work their magic. We have local artists Ready and Willing to Provide the talent. Two more permission slips to sign and its a go. Keep checking back it will be awesome.

A School Book bag drive in July. New or Nearly new Book bags and basic Supplies are needed.

Winter Coat Drive That goes on all year. If you have a warm coat even with small holes don't pitch it we can put it to good use. Many of the homeless are sleeping on the streets and Layer Coats .Their passed out all winter as needs arise.
