All About Us:
A Lasting Touch has been offering antiques, artwork, collectibles, glassware, jewelry, furniture, home accents, gifts, lawn and garden accessories plus a whole lot more, all at unbeatable prices, since 1990. Our main retail store is located 2 miles west of I-77 in beautiful Rock Hill, South Carolina, which is only 20 minutes south of Charlotte, North Carolina. When you step in the door, prepare to be astonished as we have the largest number of consignment merchants located under one climate controlled roof in York County. In fact, we are the only antique and gift store in Rock Hill!
For our eBay auctions, we rely solely on consignment merchants who find unique and highly desireable items for us to sell exclusively for them. Many of the items lised are aquired from local estate sales and auctions. Most items are old family pieces that need to find a new home. Because of this reason, we are proud to offer only the best quality items that you will cherish for years to come!
Please pay special note: when you are viewing our auctions and especially any of our china and crystal auctions, ALL pieces are free from any damage such as cracks, chips, and repairs ~ We do not believe in selling any items with these common types of defects ~ at any cost. The only exception to this rule would be if the piece is extremely unusual or very rare. You should also note that unless the auctions are marked ~NEW~ there may be very light use marks, but that is to be expected with all pre-owned pieces and therefore is not considered a defect. The true condition of all pieces listed can be verified by carefully reading each item description and asking questions about condition prior to bidding. If needed, we can send any array of pictures you wish to help in making your decision to purchase a new found treasure easier.
Our set listing day for all of our new auction items is Friday. Reason being, it makes it easier for our merchants to bring items into us on set days. Each new listing will have a minimum of a seven (7) days and a maximum of ten (10) days for the auction run. This allows for the most views and chances to bid. So keep checking back for new and exciting merchandise each week!

A LASTING TOUCH is not the owner nor seller of the items listed; we are merely a bailee acting on behalf of the seller to facilitate the sale of the items by holding the items in trust until such a time the sale of the items is completed and the items are shipped to the buyer.
A LASTING TOUCH has used its best efforts to inspect the items for sale; create detailed descriptions; furnish photographs that fairly and adequately depict the type, condition, and image of the items at the time of sale.
A LASTING TOUCH makes no expressed or implied warranties or representations regarding the condition or suitability of the items and to the extent allowed by law, specifically disclaims any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to any warranty of merchantability or fitness for purpose.
A LASTING TOUCH holds all copyrights for text and images for all auctions.
Payment, Shipping & Returns:
Should you have any questions regarding a piece, please email them prior to bidding on the auction...keep in mind to allow ample time for a response prior to auction closing. If you ask a question less than 24 hours before auction close, it may not get answered in time!
PAYMENTS: Payments for auctions are to be made within 7 days of auction close by PayPal. Please also take note that we ship only within the United States - NO bids from International countries please.
SHIPPING: All items are shipped directly from our contracted shipping company. Please take special note, we only ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) with package tracking. Because of our shipping agreement, insurance on your treasured item(s) is optional with every purchase. If you decline insurance on your package, we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to item(s). Our normal shipping days are Tuesday through Friday. All items are shipped from our East Coast location and can take 3 to 7 days to reach their destination depeding on where they are shipped.
RETURNS: All items need to be inspected when they arrive at your door. Any descrepencies noted in the item description versus the actual piece should be reported directly to us via email within 72 hours of item receipt which is verified by package tracking information. A refund (merchandise credit) will only be given if an item is not properly described as listed, meaning the item is drastically different than described, not because of buyers remorse after the fact. Merchandise credits are only available once the item has been returned to us in the same condition received and by the same shipping carrier. All refunds are to be received within 3 days of return merchandise approval. All merchandise credits are less the shipping charges... There are no exceptions to this because you have paid for and received a service from a 3rd party (i.e. the USPS) and they have fulfulled their contract properly when you receive the item and likewise return it to us. Merchandise credits are good for 90 days from issue date.
