~Tropical Soul~

  I have always been into any type of art or craft....fiber, ceramics, drawing, painting, and then jewelry making.  I like controling every part of my designing so it was only natural to make the jump to making my own beads. I learned on my own from Making Glass Beads by Cindy Jenkins (an excellent book, I highly reccommend it if you are interested in trying this).  I love the endless possibilities of working with glass...the sky is the limit to what can be created.

I am also inspired by brilliant colors and patterns, earthy textures, and sculpted forms.  I love to create miniature landscapes on the surface of my beads.  I make what my mood feels and that is when I do my best work.

I am happy to try and create special request cats, it helps to see a picture so I can get the colors as close as possible. 

All beads are individuals created one at a time.  I can sometimes create a similar bead, but can never promise an exact duplicate.  Some beads are a one time only miracle and can never be recreated.  I am always open to suggestions and appreciate them!
