Darwin's Linc Sock Monkeys; About Us; About Them
Mom quit the biz. I'm now officially a sole proprietor. It's a lot of work feeding, bathing, changing and entertaining so many sock monkeys. Please adopt one!!! PLEASE!!!
In other news, I have opened an AVON e-store to keep up with the escalating price of bananas. If you or anyone you know buys Avon products, please tell them to buy them from me. Or else! You don't want a strange sock monkey knocking on your door, now do you? Here's the link:

I have been an eBay sellers for several years, with a 100% feedback rating and many happy customers.
If you are interested in a custom order, please email me. I will do my best to create a monkey just for you or a loved one.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE AMERICAN SOCK MONKEY
The sock monkey takes its place among many other singularly American cultural standards: Baseball, hot dogs, apple pie, Campbell's soup... SOCK MONKEYS.
According to Wikipedia, the earliest known claim to making the monkey dolls dates to 1919. Sock monkeys made from red-heeled socks could not have appeared before 1932, the year the Nelson Knitting Company of Rockford, Illinois added the trademarked red heel to its product.
My personal beliefs (in case you were interested):
-BUY AMERICAN MADE PRODUCTS. If you can find them, that is. Pretty soon, there won't be any left.
-Outsourcing is just plain wrong! It's great for the bottom line of corporate moguls and their boards, but it's taking jobs away from Americans.
When you call your credit card company's service department, who answers your calls? An American? NOT BLOODY LIKELY!
Write your representatives about this important issue.
-Educate before you vaccinate. If you need some information, email me.
-Autism: 1 in 100 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. That's approximately one diagnosis every 20 minutes, and it's an epidemic. My daughter has autism. Please keep all these children and their families in your prayers.
