The Alliance for American Quilts brings together people who love, study, make, and collect quilts in the cause of documenting, preserving, and sharing our great American quilt heritage. The Alliance is committed to collecting the rich stories that quilts tell about our nation's diverse people and communities. At the Center for the Quilt Online, you can find: Quilt Query. Experts from our knowledgeable board will answer your questions about quilts, including care, history, restoration and evaluation. The Quilt Index. Our growing digital reference library features searchable information and photographs of thousands of quilts. Quilters' S.O.S. - Save Our Stories. Our extensive oral history project has hundreds of in-depth interviews with quiltmakers across the United States. Quilt Treasures. Our documentary web portraits profile key figures in the great twentieth-century Quilt Revival, including Virginia Avery, Cuesta Benberry, Jinny Beyer, Patty and David Crosby, Jean Ray Laury, Bets Ramsey, and Yvonne Porcella. Boxes Under the Bed. Our national project seeks to ensure the preservation of historic quilt-related materials, such as patterns, letters, and clippings. Special Features. Condition Listings   Unwashed, unused:  Quilt has never been washed or used.  Quilt is in mint or near-mint condition. Crisp and often with sizing.   Excellent: Quilt has never been washed.  May have minimal fading or staining. No holes or tears.  All stitching and seams are intact. May have some batting shift.   Good: Quilt may have been washed.  Some staining, fading, or discoloration noted. May have some age-appropriate wear to fabric or binding.  May have been repaired or restored.  May have some loose stitching or open seams. May have a batting shift.   Fair: Quilt has been washed.  May have fading, wear, and / or staining.  May have a small tear or hole.  May have loose stitching or open seams. Batting may be shifted or exposed.   Poor: Obvious wear, staining, and / or fading noted.  May have tears, holes, or fraying.  Loose stitching and / or open seams may be present.

RETURN POLICY

We focus on Customer Satisfaction and will address any problems promptly.
1. We will issue a refund of your purchase price for any item that is not as we described.
2. 24 hour inspection period is offered.
3. Notification of intent to return must be made within 24 hours of receipt of package.
4. Package must be received in return within in 7 business days.
5. We do check each item prior to shipping and we do have detailed photos of the item being sold.
6. If your item arrives damaged or broken, Please contact us immediately.
