Sergeant Jeff Williams
|
This auction was the idea of Jeff Williams, a Sergeant in the East Cleveland Police Department. In March of 2005, Sergeant Williams lost his son, Kyle, tragically to inhalant abuse. Since then he has dedicated himself to helping spread the word about the dangers of inhalant abuse and preventing others from suffering the same tragic and senseless loss that he and his family have endured.
Sgt. Williams is an active member of ACE’s Board of Trustees and we are happy to make his idea a reality. Now we need your help! By spreading the word about our auction you too are helping to increase awareness about the issue of inhalant abuse. With every donation you are helping us put this issue on the radar by allowing ACE to continue activities including, but not limited to:
· Sending free Inhalant Prevention Kits to schools, communities where there’s been an incident, community organizations, etc.
· Creating a Parent Resource Network site where all who have been affected by this issue can communicate.
· Conducting localized events nationwide so another community does not have to lose a child, sibling, parent or neighbor to this issue.
· Providing materials and opportunities for persons affected by this issue to be strong advocates in their communities. To learn more about inhalant abuse please visit www.Inhalant.org.
