Hi. I am a mother to a beautiful daughter Ava. She was born with a severe birth defect called Pierre Robin. She spent many months in the hospital and now is home with us. She has had her breathing tube removed (a few months ago) and has a feeding tube. We are trying to teach her to eat but she is having a hard time with it. Despite all we have been through with her we wouldn't change a thing and she is the light of our lives.

Prior to Ava, I was about to start a residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry after finishing medical school at UMASS (after 10 years of college in all!) Unfortunately I am unable to pursue my training as no day care will accept Ava with her special medical needs. We are a now a one income family with lots of medical bills and I love to dress up Ava, so I decided to start selling on ebay. I also really like to craft and make things and will all of the stress we have I find it relaxing.
