I'm an animal lover, specifically dogs and horses. I have a dobie and a poodle-mix, both sweethearts. I love the ocean, in all its moods and flavors. I'm a Lowcountry girl (SC) but now live near Charlotte - and miss the beach! I'm a retired RN and an author.
My favorite music is contemporary and alternative Christian (Rick Elias, Rich Mullins, Bebo Norman, Andrew Peterson, etc) I just finished certifying 2 acres at my church as a backyard wildlife habitat, to provide cover, food and shelter for all the critters being moved out by development. I am a minimalist, so i'm clearing out my own 'Walden.'
