David Doernberg, Collector of License Plates and Transportation Items


I am David G. Doernberg of Silver Spring, Maryland. I am a license plate collector for over 50 years. My club memberships include the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association (ALPCA), Europlate, Mid-America Plate Association, Michigan License Plate Collectors Association, and the Registration Numbers Club (a United Kingdom club for "cherished number plates").

I am interested in all types of non-passenger plates, organizational plates, colleges and universities, and many of the new graphic plates. I also collect permits used by various types of vehicles, such as milk trucks, refreshment vans, taxicabs, etc.

I also collect transportation tokens and tickets, and belong to the Transport Ticket Society, and the Society of Automotive Historians.

I have a limited number of plates to trade from Maryland, the District of Columbia or other States, so I will respond to your want lists and I will check my trader plates.
