The way that I work is after the bidding is done, I will send an invoice if I have to combine items. If not feel free to use the Pay It Now button. If you want to Pay on a later date let me know also. But it has to be in a reasonable timeframe, not like 6 months from now.
If the address is unconfirmed by Paypal, I will contact the buyer to reconfirm the address. And, it's off to the Post Office!
I ship the merchandise myself since the Post Office is 3 blocks away. And since I heard that some postal workers don't scan merchandise going out, I always add delivery confirmation free of charge. If you want insurance on the item, it will depend on where the item is being shipped. (I learned that USPS doesn't put insurance on items going to the phillippines)
I leave feedback as soon as I ship the item, since the buyers part is already done and so is mine. It's up to the post office to deliver the package. I always ask that feedback is left when the buyer recieves the package so I know that the item was delivered. (leaving feedback is not necessary, but let me know when the item arrives.)
I found the joys of eBay to be selling my old stuff for stuff that I want. It's like Lay-away and trading put together. Since my taste for collectables changes I usually keep the ones that are near and dear to me, and sell the rest.
All in all the stuff you sell is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for them. So be fair and don't overhike the shipping cost either.
That's me in a nutshell. |
