About the Artist

Amanda was born and raised in South Florida. She lives there to this day and is highly influenced by its bright, colorful atmosphere. She started drawing at the age of 2 and never stopped. At the age of 6 her teacher told her that people actually "grow up" to be artists, and the idea stuck with her. Since then she has devoted her life to learning about and creating art, illustration, and design. She currently is finishing her Bachelor's of Fine Art in Graphic Design while working as the graphic designer for a local event services company. When she is not at work or school she paints fairies and geishas and magic creatures.

She likes to sell her work on eBay because she can connect directly with her collectors. She likes to paint small works of art mostly because of time restraints in her current schedule, but also because she likes the intimate nature of small paintings and the challenge that format brings of adding as much detail as possible.

In the future she hopes to license her work on consumer targetted products like stickers, t-shirts, and greeting cards in order to provide her collectors with multi-functional forms of her art that they can share with their friends and family.
