HELLO AND WELCOME! Thank you for visiting this page to learn more about me. I have two great loves Creative Quilting and American Indian Culture. I am a registered member of the Choctaw Tribe. My Father was Choctaw, my Mother was White. I have five children and fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. I have displayed at various quilt shows, (Houston,TX and Paducah, KY)., I have been featured in quilting publications - Creative Quilting and four of House of White Birches publications. I have been listed in many quilt magazines as a source for photos on fabric. I think my first Memory Quilt that appeared in Creative Quilting in September, 1987, began the memory quilt craze. If anyone knows of an earlier photo memory quilt, I would like to know about it. I have a business, Fabric Fotos, that reproduces photos and other memorabilia onto fabric for quilting and other craft projects. I hold a patent (#4,724,468 issued 2/88) on a process I developed for fabric reproduction. With five children, I did not have much time to piece quilts, so I used my process to make quilts that "looked like" they were pieced. I have had a retail quilt shop, a gift manufacturing business with seven Trade Mart Reps: Dallas, Denver, Atlanta, Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. I was Director of the American Indian Cultural Center for 6 years. I started a program there for Indian Women to learn to quilt. We sold them on eBay, which launched my journey on eBay. You'll find some of my work in my store and I truly hope that you love it as much as I love creating it.
