Hello!

My name is Mike Dorsey.  To tell you a little about myself, I was a Commercial Hard Hat Diver for twenty years who worked in the Oil Field.  I am the outdoor type who has hunted, fished, worked on guns, shot a bow most of my life, enjoyed surfing when I was younger and Scuba Diving occasionlly still.  I use to build cars and have always strived to be an artist of some type and I enjoy photography.  I like to tinker and invent things but I'm not an engineer.  I have worked with my hands most of my life but have been a Diving Supervisor or Diving Consultant where my brain was all that was called for.  Presently I work on a beautiful Ranch as a Caretaker and stay there a good bit!  Sence I was a kid and my Dear Grandmother gave me my first arrowhead I have had the desire to find them myself.  I looked in the creeks where I hunted all my life but didn't find my first one until on a hunting lease in West Texas in the early 90's some 40+ years later!  Sence then I have found quite a few on the surface and while digging.  I try to catelog my finds, where I found the artifact, how deep, when I found it and also photograph it so that the information can stay with the artifact once I have gone or if I should sell it.  I am mostly a collector but would like to be a seller as well as a buyer of artifacts because I enjoy it so much!  I am a member of AACA the Authentic Artifact Collectors Association which adheres to the fair dealing in authentic artifacts!  They, as I, realize that there are many fake or reproduction artifacts being sold on eBay and are trying to make a difference by asking collectors who sell to alow a time period of 14 Days to decide weither an artifact is authentic or return for a refund!  I support this!  eBay is a great way to collect a variety of collectables and has helped me to amass many authentic ancient artifacts to add to my personal museum!  I hope along the way, to offer my personal art, authentic American artifacts along with a variety of other interesting items!  Thanks for taking the time to get to know me and Happy eBaying!
