I run a small sole proprietorship. I am a motorcycle rally vendor. I travel during the warm months and sell on ebay year round. I'm a mother, and grandmother.
On july 25, 2006, my 19 yr. old son Christopher was shot. He was in icu for 2 days until he finally passed on july 27, 2006. He left behind his infant son Jerimyah who was born Feb. 6, 2006. About two weeks before his death, Christopher had discussed with me and his grandmother that he was planning on starting a trust fund for Jerimyah, just in case anything ever happened to him and he couldn't be there. He never got a chance to start that trust fund. Shortly after my son passed away, I got in his wallet. All he had after paying his bills the friday before was $11. So I took that $11 and had a raffle with a walkman cd player. That turned it into $41. I took that $41 and invested in some of my motorcycle rally event do-rags. I turned that $41 into $333!!! I started the trust fund for Jerimyah that his daddy so desperately wanted to start. I put in $263 and put back $70 to reinvest in something else to raise more money. I'm also having a few auction on ebay from time to time to sell some of my sons things that I can bare to part with. I just want all the money in the trust fund to be money for Jerimyah that came from his daddy! So, if you see any of my special auctions listed make sure to take a look. It's going for a good cause. Thank you.
Update 10/24/2008: To date I have had 5 successful auctions for my grandsons trust fund. The total from auctions is close to $40.00! Thank you to all who bid and especially to the winners!!!!!! Thanks to event do-rags, personal donations and ebay auctions, his total trust fund is now over $1356.11!!!!! God Bless you all!!!!
**This spring the house my grandson and his mommy were living in burnt to the ground. They lost everything. Thanks to everyone who has purchased items or donated money to my grandsons trust fund. The money was there to buy back clothes, toys, diapers, and his beloved sippy cup! We spent about $250.00. We had to hit alot of yard sales and thrift stores to do it! I'm so very grateful to you all! I thank you for your support and Jerimyah thanks you for his sippy cup! LOL! :)
