A.I. is a partnership, an idea and a dream. It began as a hobby and then became a business. Sure--we wanted to buy and sell things, but we both decided we wouldn't do it if we couldn't offer value for value received. We also decided we wouldn't sell anything but the unique. If you see it in every other store, why bore people with it? We also have both experienced dealers who no longer remember what they went into their business for. We promise we will always remember that without our customers, we would be nothing. Every customer we've contacted and will ever contact must be completely satisfied or we've failed.
We Started Out Collecting Just Like You My partner and I have always been fond of antiques and fascinated by history. At first we just collected the things that caught our eye--me: books, comics, stamps, coins, military things--guy things;she: mostly movie things--Star Wars, dolls, little animals--girl things. When we met, we found out we enjoyed going in search of these treasures. Our relatives left us things that expanded our knowledge and interests, such as glassware, pottery, ceramics, jewelry and art. We decided to learn all we could about these things, our interests and everything we owned. We expanded into areas like coins and stamp collections, electric trains and ladies compacts. We began to recognize brand names like Hall's Jewel Tea, McCoy, Lionel, Evening In Paris, Staffordshire, Fiesta, Cobalt and Depression Glass. I had collected comics since the 60's and she had collected Star Wars since 1977. Both our homes were full of books and toys and electronics. We started to recognize the idea of what a collectible was--an object which once had an active purpose and now was possessed for it's design, uniqueness, or beauty. Just like you, our homes soon got filled with things we knew we should sell to increase our knowledge and our cash flow! So here we are--and we'll never let you down with the ordinary, the trite, the generic. Soon, just like you, everybody will know:"If you got it from Amerinco, you got a real find and you got it for a good price!"
