Hello world! My name is 'Ampmedic'. I've been living in Henderson, NV since 10/03. Formerly from Long Island, NY, I had a successful guitar  & audio amplifier service shop/studio. I've since "hung out my shingle" providing professional guitar amp, audio amp & vintage radio repair services here in the Las Vegas area.

I am known for my trouble-shooting ability & meticulous soldering skills, installing superior parts & components as opposed to off brand & cheap substitutes. My tone shaping skills are second to none. I receive customer amps from all over the country because I take the time necessary to satisfy the player/client & go the extra mile to get it right the first time. Something you don’t hear of too often in today’s society.

Building reliability into every guitar amp, audio amp & vintage radio serviced & sold,  I don’t just ‘hack in any old part’ & hope for the best, as I have seen countless times in the many amps that have passed through my studio. ‘Tubes are where it’s at’ for me & vintage Marshall & Hiwatt heads are my favorite guitar amps. That ‘Big Iron’ turns me on! LOL!  Modern day Mesa amps & several vintage combos have worked their way into my heart as well.  My collection has grown to more than 30 of these ‘magnificent beasts’, not including power amps & rack gear! God help me!

I also repair, restore & sell vintage tube audio amps, preamps & receivers. Vintage Pioneer SX series transistor receivers a favorite of mine. My collection of high-end receivers includes the venerable SX-1980, SX-1250, SX1050, SX-3900 including Marantz receivers as well.
