To clear up any potential problems or misunderstandings, here are the terms of my service that you agree to when you make a bid.
TERMS OF SERVICE
All Paypal payments must be made within 3 days, mailed payments 7 days. I reserve the right to re-list the item if the payment has not been made in this time period or to sell the item to the second highest bidder. I do not do eBay as a full-time job, but I try to ship items out quickly and respond to questions as quickly as possible. My goal is to ship your item out within 5 BUSINESS days of payment - sometimes sooner (some high value items above $100 or large size items may take and additional 3-5 days to process) . Please note: Just because you pay with Paypal does not mean you get expedited or RUSH service. With gas prices the way they are, I try to go to the post office after I have received several orders. I can, however, accommodate rush orders at an additional fee and overnight shipping can also be added.
If you have a question or a problem, please contact me. If I am unable to respond right away, please be patient I will get to your request as quickly as possible.
IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR ITEM:
Please contact me; I have no reason NOT to send your item to you! It could be a postal delay, loss, or the item may have been damaged or returned for some reason. If you pay for insurance, you do not have a thing to worry about! I try to replace the item and ship it out again quickly or refund your money, minus any shipping fees.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES:
My fees are based upon 1st Class USPS mail unless otherwise specified. If a rate is stated in error, the actual postage cost shall be the required rate and any difference must be paid before shipment will be completed. In other words if the rate you are invoiced by me or by ebay is in error, the actual rate the post office charges will be the required shipping fee. That is why it is important all international orders should contact me for an invoice before paying to avoid any delay with their order.
HANDLING: I also incur costs for envelopes, tape, boxes, and gasoline to go to the post office. These fees are added in with the postal fees, so if you look at your shipping costs, this is the reason it may be a little higher than the actual postage shown on your package.
INSURANCE, AND PEOPLE WHO OPT FOR NO INSURANCE
Insurance is usually required, included or is not available with 1st Class Mail on International orders; if you pay for insurance you are covered and you will be taken care of as quickly as possible. If you bid on an item and do not want to pay for insurance or opt not to insure an item, it is at YOUR OWN RISK! If you do not pay for insurance, you agree to not hold me responsible and to not file a paypal dispute/claim against me when I have proof of shipment, leave ANY NEGATIVE or any form of feedback that will damage me or my reputation on eBay. By not paying for insurance, you also agree to end any paypal claim immediately after I have provided proof of shipment (customs form numbers are considered proof of shipment). You also agree to not post or display any derogatory or defamatory comment that is related to a delayed, lost or damaged shipment cause by the shipping carrier (USPS, FEDEX or UPS). The only thing I shall be held accountable for is getting your item to the post office within 10 business days. Once they take over, I have NO control of their handling or handling by customs. You also agree that if you breach this agreement, you also agree to have a damage fee of $1,000 per violation paid to me, from your paypal account. Additional damages may be demanded through a civil court as well.
By placing a bid, you agree to all of these terms stated above. If you have a problem getting your item or need more time to pay, I am more than willing to work out a reasonable solution.
I am really very easy to get along with, but I have had to make and enforce a terms of service policy because of a very small number of unreasonable eBayers.
