Hammin' it up on the Hammock!
|
So, eBay is good! I've sold way back in the day when the process was much more difficult--but now I continue to appreciate the updating and progress that has been made in the network. And yes, there's an actual person sitting here at my computer, not an automated system doing all of the work.
About me, I live in Michigan with my awesome daughter and son, ages 14 and 12. I'm 'thirty something'...and have felt the effects of this metro Detroit/auto industry local and national economic plummet for several years now. I realize that times are tough for most everyone...think it gives us character, making our shoulders a little wider and stronger! I was a realtor in the midst of it all, loved my job and did very well until then. Long story short, eBay is what I do now. It's a 24/7 job, but I can't wait to get up every day to see what new questions and bids came in since bedtime. It's very rewarding to hear from people with special requests--hoping I can help, or sometimes writing just to say hi!
My living room looks like a warehouse with all of the clothing shelves and racks filled with inventory--which is hopefully in constant rotation. My kids help me out with all of it, whether it's making priority mail boxes for me or organizing my shipping...we are a team! And I hope they are learning from this eBay experience a little bit about 'the real world' in the meantime.
I'm always looking to expand and improve, which includes 'tweaking' and changing some of what I currently do. I challenge myself to constantly brainstorm opportunities to bring my buyers exactly what they are looking for and exceed their expectations of purchasing on the internet. I'm always up for suggestions :) It's all about trust and creating relationships, which is the part that I enjoy the most!
Feel free to write....thanks for stopping by!
Ciao' for now~! Amy (amyco33@comcast.net)
