Painting is my absolute passion and joy! Painting is the voice I use to express my life, feelings and love. Hoping the love for what I do  translates on any canvas that I choose. There are many canvas’ and one of those being the dolls that I hope will come alive with my painting. Just for that little kid in all of us dying to get out.

I grew up as the youngest child in my family, living in a small town in Indiana with my horse as my best friend, I would spend my days wandering through the fields, exploring the forests, playing in the creeks and rivers and always using my imagination.

Raised in a creative family my mother was my inspiration with a talent in her soul that will never compare to anyone else. She always made sure we never lacked art supplies; there was always paper, pencils, paints and crayons. Mom instilled in me a love for what is around us and not to ever pass a rose without taking in it’s fresh scent with any means possible usually through art.

My name is Amye Jensen and founder of Gloria’s Dream. I am proud to say I am a self taught artist on canvas in Acrylics and Oils. My canvas’ also includes painting on glass, wood, stone, porcelain, ceramics, fabric and resin. For thirty years I have been in the craft/art retail business of both selling and designing; the last ten years as a floral designer.
