About Amy
My name is Amy Haught, I am 41 years old and married to my wonderful husband, Tom. I have three boys ages 12, 11 and 10. I also have two adopted dogs, Ling age 8, a rescued greyhound, and Belvadere, age 5, a rescued Rottweiler.
I live in Bath, Ohio where I work from my studio above the garage. I am a self-taught full time artist with a degree in Marketing from Kent State University, and a diploma in Nursing, from Summa Saint Thomas School of Nursing.I have sold over 400 original paintings through Internet sales alone.
My work has reached International selling status allowing my paintings to travel to such far away places including Hong Kong, Germany,Japan, France, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, London, Ireland, and recently the Netherlands. My work is governed by the interplay of color and texture. The impact of nature and color directly influences how I approach a new painting. My daily walks help me to chose the colors for a particular piece. Nature coupled with Ohios ever-changing seasons, motivate me in determining layout and color scheme. You will see the vibrant colors of Autumn infused in my September and October works, whites and bright blues are noticed with the cold winter season. Yellow-greens and chocolate browns are commonly involved in my spring time paintings.
I am fortunate to have established myself here on Ebay with postive feedback and, over 400 sales. I hope you enjoy viewing my work, and know when contemplating purchasing my artwork, you will be receiving a unique, one-of-a-kind piece, created from pieces of my personality and colors I can see only in my dreams.
