Thanks for stopping in. My goal is to help others enjoy great bargains and for all transactions to be easy, prompt, smooth, and leaving buyers with at least a smile, if not a laugh.
About me: Since March 2002 I've enjoyed the wonders of Ebay and had many fun transactions. My interests are varied - angels, kaleidoscopes, gadgets, time savers, artwork - especially glass and crystal, reading & gardening. Among my most satisfying accomplishments are getting a bargain. My friends are often amazed at what I find so a decision was made to share some of my bargains on Ebay. Besides new merchandise, from time to time I'll be listing treasures (at least to me) from my home or finds from auctions and estate sales.
March 2006 news: We are delighted to be extending our product line to include kaleidoscopes by David Collier an exceptionally accomplished and creative artist. We've also added some beautiful kaleidoscope and marble scope necklaces by Ritama Haaga who is returning to kaleidoscope making after an absence. We will continue to add new artists as well as continue to carry scopes by reknown artist and director of the Brewster Kaleidoscope Society Carolyn Bennett, The Big Muddy know for their fine craftsmanship of wooden teleidoscopes. The same extraordinary craftsmanship extends into their kaleidoscope line. And finally, we will be adding some of the Caroline Bennett "Jazzies", fun kaleidoscopes for all ages.
Background & Philosophy
If you're wondering about the laugh-smile, my friends and even strangers often compliment me on my laugh and how it cheers them up. Also it ties in with my favorite quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:
To laugh often and much;
To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others;
To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition;
To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded. |
