As most of my regular customers know ,I work from home and have 2 little boys ages 6 and 10.Every summer,I face the same dilemna of how am I going to work as well as spend time with my children and make their summer fun and memorable.In an effort to give my customers the same first class customer service I am adding to this page so everyone understands who I am as well as how I work and operate.I would also like to let my customers know what selling entails and every sellers as well as myself likes and dislikes in a raw honest way.I am an absolute fanatic about providing the most outstanding customer service as humanly possible because I want my customers to come back.You revisiting my auctions,provides me with a way to provide for my family as well as be home for my children.This is not a hobby for me,it is a full time job that I really enjoy but it can be extremely grueling at times. I will in the following paragraphs let you in on my new summer shipping as well as working hours and how I love and absolutely hate to operate.

My new summer shipping and working hours are as follows

I will be shipping 6 days a week

if your order is paid for by 10am,it will ship the same day.EXCEPT FOR SATURDAYS WHERE ANY ITEM PAID FOR BY 5AM EST,WILL BE SHIPPED.Any payment sent after 10am on weekdays,will be shipped the following business day.These terms have been in my auctions since I started selling but never really adhered to it as I go to the post office several times a day.BUT I plan on being out after 12 noon this summer every day with my children.I will resume working at night  7pm-9pm eastern standard time at which times I will be available to answer emails.

MY 4 DAY SHIPPING RULES

There is a very specific reason why I have this rule and would like to fill you in on it.

I am constantly listing new items and have at times have had customers bid for weeks on end because of it.I simply can't afford to operate that way as it inhibits the ability to buy inventory,pay paypal as well as ebay fees(,which I do on a daily basis so I don't get socked with an unbearable bill at the end of the month)pay for free shipping and most importantly feed my family,lol.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS-I OFFERED FREE SHIPPING FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS BUT IT BECAME IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO CONTINUE TO DO SO.SOME ITEMS THAT ARE LIGHTWEIGHT,I DO OFFER FREE SHIPPING.PLEASE KNOW THAT I AM 99% SURE THAT YOU WILL NOT FIND CHEAPER SHIPPING AS IF YOU LOOK AT YOUR ENVELOPE,YOU WILL SEE THAT I PAY PROBABLY PAY MORE THAN 50% OF YOUR SHIPPING COST

NONPAYING BIDDERS

MOST EBAY SELLERS ARE SUPPORTING THEIR FAMILIES ON EBAY AND IT IS NOT A HOBBY.AS I AM NOT A COMMPANY A NON PAYING BIDDER REALLY AFFECTS ME TERRIBLY AS I AM OBLIGATED BY EBAY'S RULES TO HOLD ONTO YOUR ITEM ,THEN FILE A CLAIM WHICH TAKES ABOUT A WEEK.SO, IT LEAVES ME UNABLE TO RELIST THE ITEM,AS WELL AS PAY FEES AND WASTE TIME AND ENERGY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT AND GO THROUGH THE PROCESS OF GETTING PAID.IT IS REALLY REALLY UNFAIR.

WHAT IT BREAKS DOWN TO AND HERE IS THE BRUTALLY HONEST TRUTH.

iF YOU CAN'T PAY,DON'T BID ,SIMPLE AS THAT.

I AM PRETTY MUCH STRICTLY AUCTIONS AS I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO KEEP UP IF I HAD STORE STYLE DIRECT BUYS.I WORK STRICTLY ALONE.IF YOU DO SEE THE BUY IT NOW FEATURE, IT IS BECAUSE QUITE SIMPLy,I NEED THE MONEY FOR LIFES UNEXPECTED WHATEVERS.RECENTLY I HAVE HAD SEVERAL BUYERS PURCHASE ALL OF MY BUY IT NOWS AND WAIT AS LONG AS 3 WEEKS TO PAY.ALMOST ALL OF MY BUY IT NOWS HAVE SUCH A MINIMAL PROFIT MARGIN AND I AM HAPPY TO BREAK EVEN AND GENERATE A CASH FLOW BE IT FOR SOMEONE'S CAVITY, A CAR INSURANCE BILL OR A NEEDED BASEBALL GLOVE.BEAR IN MIND,I HAVE LITTLE KIDS THAT ARE AFFECTED NOT JUST ME,WHEN SOMEONE IS SLOW TO PAY.

RETURNS

NO SELLERS LIKES RETURNS,ESPECAILLY ME.I CAN COUNT ON JUST 1 HAND THE RETURNS I HAVE HAD IN MY 5 YEARS OF SELLING.I TRULY BELIEVE THIS IS BECAUSE I TAKE MY PHOTOS AS ACCURATELY AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE AND I AM HONEST ABOUT ANY FLAWS I SEE IN MY PRODUCT..WITH MAINLY AUCTION STYLE LISTINGS,RETURNS WOULD BE PRETTY UNFAIR UNLESS SOMETHING WAS GROSSLY MISREPRESENTED.I HAVE BEEN FORCED BY EBAYS NEW RULES TO CHOOSE A RETURN POLICY SO OF COURSE I CHOSE THE POLICY WHERE IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY ,BY ALL MEANS RETURN THE PRODUCT.QUITE FRANKLY, I CHOOSE THIS POLICY RELUCTANTLY BUT WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE MY CUSTOMERS HAPPY AS IT IS NOT ABOUT ME BUT ABOUT YOU AND YOUR SATISFACTION.

OTHER ISSUES

PAYMENTS-

If I send you an invoice it means a significant amount of time has gone by and I want to be paid as well as really need the money AND YOU'RE MAKING ME UPSET

IF I HAVE TO SEND YOU THE SAME INVOICE MORE THAN ONCE,IT MEANS NOW IM EVEN MORE UPSET.MOST TIMES,IN THESE CASES THE BUYER JUST WILL  IGNORE THE INVOICE,INSTEAD,WRITE ME AND WORK IT OUT WITH ME OR AT LEAST LET ME KNOW WHEN OR IF I CAN EVER EXPECT A PAYMENT.

PAYMENTS ON A DAILY BASIS

I HAVE A FEW CUSTOMERS THAT WILL PAY ON A DAILY BASIS NOT ONLY BECAUSE OF THE FREE SHIPPING BUT BECAUSE I ALWAYS SEND AN EXTRA TREAT.IT PUTS ME IN AN UNCOMFORTABLE POSISTION AS I DON'T WANT TO SAY OR DO ANYTHING TO DRIVE ANYONE AWAY BUT-PLEASE BEAR IN MIND FREE SHIPPING WHICH COSTS ME A SMALL FORTUNE ISN'T THE ONLY EXPENSE .I PAY EBAY FEES,PAYPAL FEES,ENVELOPES BUBBLE WRAP SHIPPING FOR THE BEADS I BUY AS WELL AS OF COURSE THE BEADS.

I AM CONSTANTLY RETHINKING  THE FREE SHIPPING ISSUE AS I KNOW IF I CHARGED SHIPPING ,PEOPLE WOULD WAIT THE 4 DAYS AND PAY ALL AT ONCE.

2ND CHANCE OFFERS

If I have more than 1 of the item I am selling,I will always send a 2nd chance offer if I will make a profit.The offer is only good for a 24 hours period.I have had people write me and ask for a better offer,ebay doesnt work that way,nor does it allow sellers to do that unless there is a special auction.Many many times over the years,I have had customers write and ask me to transact outside of ebay.I will never do that as I have worked quite hard to build my business over the past 5 years and a few extra dollars isn't worth me losing it all,please understand that.

CUTSOMER SERVICE

I will pretty much jump through hoops to make you happy and ensure that you come back.as I have said before,my business is extremely important to me and if you ever have any problems whatsoever,please let me know,I will always make things right,always!!

TYPING

LAST BUT NOT LEAST,I AM THE WORLD'S WORST TYPER AND IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IT WILL EVER GET BETTER.I SWEAR ,I DO KNOW HOW TO SPELL JUST CANT TYPE.SO PLEASE IF i MAKE A REALLY WEIRD TYPO, WRITE ME AND i WILL CLARIFY THINGS FOR YOU.
