Quality Orchids from Hawaii

Aloha from the Valley Isle.  I am your source for quality orchids that will thrive in your collection.  I try to have a broad selection of some of the finest species and hybrid orchids that are available, from exhibition and merit award quality Cattleyas, large and multifloral Phalaenopsis,  Vanda type breeding, and assorted other fun stuff.  My offerings are a reflection of my personal tastes and what grows well here in Maui.

I have been growing orchids for nearly 30 years now, starting on the mailand growing under lights and in windowsills.  I also started to teach myself to hybridize and do my own lab work.   Be on the lookout for more seeds, flasks, and compots in the future. 

I am an artist by training and am still in awe everytime I see the beauty of each orchid bloom.  I can't get enough of it so I divide my time painting and working with orchids as well as try to keep up my own personal collection.  I try and inform you about each orchid l list so you know what to expect. 

I have served on mainland and island Orchid Society Boards, Show Commitee Chair, and built both personal displays and Orchid Society displays on the mainland and here in the islands.  I am currently our local society photographer as well as learning to evaluate orchid flowers.
