Hi,
My name is Terri and I would like to introduce myself by telling you about my passions in life, my crafts and a little about myself in general.
My first passion is my charity of choice which is helping animal shelters find homes for pets, donating, whether it be food, items like blankets for bedding, paper towels, and what little money I can give, etc. I am also driven to helping all animals of the earth so they are protected from global warming and poachers via PETA and WWF.
My second passion is crocheting my Beautiful Afghans that are a family heirloom ORIGINAL stitch passed down through my family from Europe. It is very thick and very warm. I have been doing this for family and friends for over 30 years.
Next a little history...I live in a small town in New Jersey that is steeped in history. People come from all over the country to visit the many antique shops and specialty stores. Medford Lakes was home to the oldest and largest log cabin in the entire United States until it burned down a few years ago. Medford Lakes is known for it's hundreds of small lakes which are surrounded by rows of original log cabins and the "claim to fame" about Medford Lakes is about the infamous "Indian Annie".
I have 2 grown precious children, a married daughter to a wonderful SIL and a fantastic son. I am married to a very loving husband. I have 2 grown stepdaughter's that consider me mom also and 2 step grand-sons who call me "Grammy"... They are all the love's of my life. Well then of course my two spoiled cat's ~ Freddie and Baby.
Also, I love and collect all things angels, fairies and teddy bears.
So, in a nutshell, I continue to pursue my dream of selling my greatest achievement and craft...My Beautiful Afghans.
