I used to be Eagle Sales back in the 80s with a shop on the southwest side of Chicago. Upon the passing of my partner Dave Shankles, I stepped back from the buy/sell/trade market for a while.
I've been collecting women's World War II uniforms for more than 25 years and have displayed them all over the country, picking up a few awards on the way. I have recently started an interest in World War 1 women's uniforms and have already amassed quite a collection.
Over the years, I joined the Army Reserve and I have been deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom twice, bringing back much to add to my overall collection.
I maintain an interest in women's uniforms from all eras but have a fondness for WW1 while being a reenactor of WW2.

I have reopened my business after 15 years and currently sell collectibles and reenactment gear for the most part. The domain 'Eagle Sales' was taken so I made mine A Nice Mess since I am also a huge fan of Laurel and Hardy. May Dave forgive me!
I do what I can to get anything I can for reenactors. Clothing, camouflage, field gear and an occasional tent. A lot of gear that I pick up for reenactors is suitable for hunting, fishing and paintballing. Camouflage, knee pads and winter gear is the most sought after items. I try to maintain a decent amount of WW2 original items but that gets hard as the years go by.
Please check out my listings for a great selection of whatnot. Also check into my eBay store for a larger selection. I keep more in the store than auctions because the listing fees are cheaper!
