the animal rescue charity reg no 1007182 was founded in 1990 by mother and daughter Jan Rose and Fiona Piggott with the aim to provide a safe haven for neglected, unwanted and abandoned animals and wherever possible to treat and rehabilitate wildlife; sanctuary as we see it being a place of protection; a refuge. Captive animals depend upon humans for survival and we actively and happily take on this responsibility by providing a safe and caring environment.
Affectionately known as "the small charity with the big heart " we care when others do not. Thank you for helping us carry on doing just this.

The Charity has reached a monumental landmark as the generosity of one supporter has enabled us to buy our own site.
We are activly promoting SAD dogs (Save A Dog) which means rescuing dogs on death row from pounds all over the Country and giving them the chance of life. 1000's of stray dogs are destroyed every year - just for being a stray. They are usually given just 7 days to be claimed.
Our appeal is to provide our new site with quarentine kennels for these stray dogs, as they will be high risk and we need to protect our other rescue dogs.
