My Ebay store has been in the planning stages for 10 years. The children had finished college, married and started their own families and it was the perfect time for downsizing! As we sorted through years of collected treasures, I decided to keep them all for a future commercial venture. I packed and inventoried everything very carefully and we put the boxes into storage. This year I decided to start my Ebay store and began unpacking boxes and designing my store. The great fun has been meeting shoppers from around the US and sharing some of the my collectibles. Plus, I now fit a few Estate Sales into my schedule and often find New Treasures for my store. Great Fun!

Shipping, Handling & Insurance
I state the costs of shipping and handling in all of my listings. This price will cover shipping to most places in the continental USA, exempting Hawaii and Alaska. I do note that shipping to rural areas may be slightly higher. If you live on an Island in Upper Michigan or on a ranch in Wyoming, Fedex charges more to deliver your packages. I use Fedex for all shipments except books and printed matter such as postcards or manuscripts. As prices for shipping can vary from the West to the East, my shipping costs are an estimate. In some cases after packing and printing labels, I find that shipping to your address was less than my estimate: in those instances, I do a refund via paypal. I include insurance on all of my shipments via Fedex.
On articles shipped via USPS there is no insurance included and winning bidders need to advise me that they wish to purchase insurance and I will quote prices. If purchases are under $250. I do not require a signature upon delivery, it is the responsibility of the buyer to supply a safe and secure delivery address.
I am a PayPal approved Seller and Paypal has a program of buyer and seller protections when you use Paypal. They do require that all items be shipped to a confirmed address to qualify for these protections. I also require confirmed addresses for shipping, this protects my shoppers and myself. For information on "Confirmed Addresses" please contact Paypal. Please do not bid or purchase items from me if you don't have a Paypal confirmed address. As I am located in Sarasota, Florida, I have to add 7% sales tax to purchases that are shipped to Florida shoppers. Thanks for visiting my Ebay store.
