Welcome! Well, I will do my best to introduce myself the best i can... My name is Anna-Karin Larsson, annakarin75 ( 128 ) Wednesday, Jan 26, 2000 , a mostly selftaught artist currently residing in Sweden. I grew up here in a nice suburban family, unaware of the many fine arts except for my incredible attraction to paper and pencils. I might have become a writer or a theatrical performer, but none of that was prominent in my home and that never happened. Instead I entertained my growing skills in art and have done so ever since. Every day is a learning experience and it is an incredible gift to have. But it doesn't come cheap. I think a lot of us artists gets worn and torn after some time...
My biggest interest in illustrating lies in the realms of the Unknown - the realms of mighty dragons, flamboyant centaurs, enchanted people and horses. In worlds we only glimpse for the fleetest of moments. Ofcourse I draw other things as well and even do some dabbling in acrylics paintings from time to time. But I paint in what medium suits me for the moment and I don't specialize in anything particular! In my spare time I enjoy attending theatrical events, especially Musicals
(CATS, Phantom of the Opera, Starlight Express...). Music and movies also catch
my interest as well as travelling. |
