After five years of creating collectible teddy bears and selling them online worldwide (my site is linked below), I have turned to exploring another of my lifelong passions: the portrait. I work in all mediums, although my primary interest currently is pastels, especially oils. I paint both illustrative and fine art portraits. While most of my work is of children, I find incredible beauty in the face at every age. The unique, the quirky, the haunted ... they call to me to capture them, free them onto paper, and let them express their individuality to you. More of my art can be viewed on etsy.com A little about me: A young woman in my twenties, I have used art of all kinds -- writing, painting, music, and more -- to battle mental illness from the time I was thirteen. Art speaks to me when nothing else does. And through my art, when I am left without words, I find amazing reward in speaking to others.
