This was me in the summer of 2004 at my little shop in the Banana Cabanas in Downtown Carillon, a resort community in the Florida Panhandle where I introduced the first Calico Caps. Got a great response, sold 123 caps that summer! To reach a larger audience I made them adjustable with the velcro/elastic then also the bow-tie style. Lots of ladies asked for floppy hats; and sure enough, they've been a big hit!

So many gorgeous prints to choose from!

The next summer they bulldozed our cute, colorful cabanas to make room for MORE condos.

Things have been going great on eBay. I've shipped hats all over the US and Canada, a few to the UK, France and even more to Australia. For 2006 and 2007 Calico Caps were on display at our annual Holly Fair. I met lots of great people and got lots of great ideas.
