Welcome to the Antique Bottle Warehouse!

Bottles, yes, but more...much more! Although my eBay user name implies that most of my auctions are antique bottles, the opposite is true. Although I specialize in early glass containers, I try to offer a variety of other items, including postcards, vintage cameras on occasion, railroad memorabilia, etc. Most of my auctions open with a low starting bid and I use a reserve only on rare occasions. In addition to that, I make every attempt to keep shipping costs at a minimum. Also, if you've been an eBay buyer for any amount of time, I'm sure you know what overpackaging is! You know, a postcard that comes in bubble wrap, secured with heavy tape and put in a mailer that's taped on every available place! Unfortunately, this can cause extensive damage when unwrapping. My items are packaged well, but I make sure you can get to them without destroying them first! I'm one of the rare breed of eBay dealers that does not delay shipment until checks clear. Most people are honest and I've had very few instances where bad checks came my way. And, most were honest mistakes! Nobody is perfect. Thanks for clicking on "Me" and please check my auctions periodically! You never know what I'll be offering! |

A little more about me! eBay is a part-time thing for me. My "actual" work is as a newspaper reporter/photographer for the Lehighton (PA) Times News. My first book, "Around Hazleton," went to press in 2005 with Arcadia Publishing, of Portsmouth, NH. NOT a vanity press! In September, my second book "Pennsylvania's Lincoln Highway," was published, also by Arcadia. For me, home is a small, but beautiful, community called Weatherly, where I live on top of a hill and at night can look down on the lights of the town. They didn't call this "Fairview Street" for nothing! When not chasing news or doing the eBay thing, I can be found driving down old highways looking for "old road" landmarks, digging antique bottles, working in the garden (weather permitting) or riding my bike for exercise. When time permits, I do free-lance writing and photography assignments and am in the process of finishing another book, an honest, first person look at the Amish Community. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I wish you all the best that life can offer!
On Sunday December 2nd, 2007, I lost my partner, best friend and husband Richard W.Funk.
As always the quality and service will be 100% satisfaction. |
