THE CHAINSAW CHICK
full body almost lifesize afghan hound carving

I'm Karrie Herschberger also known worldwide as "The Chainsaw Chick".  My specialty is creating realistic purebred dog sculptures from various types of wood using only a chainsaw.  Some of my famous clientele includes Martha Stewart and Martyn Ford.  Finished pieces are ready for immediate delivery and special requests or portraits are welcomed as time permits. Additionally, I sculpt miniatures in polymer clay and make original fabric paintings.

The outdooors is my home and I may be found there either creating a sculpture of someone's special pet or hunting and fishing.  My work is my passion and it has the added benefit of letting me meet other dog artists and fanciers.
