Continually
we are asked by folks worldwide clicking on our Ebay auction and web
store listings: What do you mean by your repeated statement of being on
a Spiritual Mission?
Much could be written in relevance to that question
to satisfy religious preferences, but Rudy's heritage (Chiricahua
Apache) stemming from this Continent Aboriginals never acquired a
preference for any of the known religious beliefs, prevalent the world
over. He was taught from early age, that we are all as children in
varying stages of life on this planet referred to as, Earth Mother.
Being born a very curious child, Rudy was prone to
ask questions that at times must have vexed the elders attempting to
educate children that tended to be too much on the wild side to cope
with. He remembers all too well, that when first told that all humanity
should have great respect for the providence from Earth Mother that
made life possible; he asked, Where is the Father?
The other boys and girls snickered
-- at which time the elderly lady admonished the
children and stated that Rudy had not been out of line by asking as it
was a good question! Then she stated, Look up into the vastness of
space and that where the father is -- watching each and every move you
make against Earth Mother. Then Rudy (Quite brave) asked, Why can't we
see the Father as we see all of Earth Mother? That time, the boys and
girls kept quiet!
The stooped and wrinkled faced old lady Rudy vividly
recalls stated, no
one can see the Father as it exists as Spirit! Yes, he did ask! What is
Spirit? The answer he heard then a lifetime ago is the same for all who
ask us now.
Spirit is energy in force much as this; then she
demonstrated by tugging and pushing Rudy at which all the boys and
girls laughed aloud. Then she said, you all saw what I did but you did
not see the strength I used; that is energy. So now you can understand
that energy is invisible. It is always constant in force, but one
cannot see it! That is why we have learned to refer to that energy as
Great Spirit!
We are all children, she said, even I am like a child
in the eyes of Great Spirit!(Everyone was silent as she spoke with a
strange look on her face.) We as human beings are brought forth onto
Earth Mother to look out for one another and help each other the best
we can to see that we find happiness at whatever we do!
That,
then, you wonderful folks who visit us on Ebay; is our goal, our spirit mission.
Throughout our crafting we infuse the love we have for the materials
used from Earth Mother, to share our love for one another not just at
Xmas time, but for each an everyday of the year!

PARANORMAL?
TREES - PLANTS
Arriving in this RV Park over 18 years ago seeking
a place to make our home, and asking for a space no one else wanted,
(Because of a reported rattlesnake den close by.) we couldn't help
noticing how bleak (No animal life at all) and dry looking it was
because of the barren grounds within all the parked RV homes.
Our reason for wanting the space we asked for was
that it had some giant prickly pear cacti that we harvest. Every year
in early springtime we select the small tender leaves, remove the
spines with a very sharp knife then cook them whole or sliced with
bacon and eggs, for breakfast in the morning. Cactus is known
medically, to be good for lowering cholesterol.
Years ago, these grounds (Twenty acres) were once
covered with Mesquite, Palo Verde and Cat-claw trees. Also with a
variety of cactus plants, and vegetation of all sorts (grasses)
supporting wild life indigenous to this area. The rattle snakes next to
our space; that for a time posed an uncomfortable situation, moved
away! :)
Sadly -- in developing the acreage for an RV Park,
the owners bulldozed trees and leveled off all greenery in sight --
causing the wild life in the vicinity to practically disappear. We find
it incomprehensible that developers need to wipe out all plant life and
trees for their aims.
Being gardeners at heart, Rudy and I (Sheri)
decided if possible to do something (In and around our space.) to help
bring back the local area wild life environment. We started working to
improve the salty and harsh alkaline soil; a formidable task we soon
discovered! We imported tons of river bottom soil and used hundreds of
pounds of organic matter.
We seeded all kinds of flowering and vegetable
plants around our motorhome -- along with planting good size fruit and
shade trees. Soon afterwards, we noticed a trickle of wild life
starting to frequent our area; mostly sparrows -- a rabbit or two and
lucky we were to see a pair of quail at a distance. Viola! Our efforts
were succeeding. Seeing that trickle of wild life encouraged us to
start feeding them daily a variety of grains, called scratch -- from a
feed store in Blythe California twenty five miles away.
In due time, we managed to establish a greenery
unlike what it used to be around our grounds. At present time nearly 18
years later, we are host to all manner of welcomed wild life settling
around us permanently for which we feel blessed.
There are now in this area literally hundreds of
different beautiful birds and doves, nesting in the full-grown trees
and huge oleander bushes, as well as quail and rabbits making their
homes nearby. We think that with all the insects and our feeding them,
they're happy!
Our small gardens (with rich soil we created)
produce the kinds of fresh tasting vegetables no longer available in
the supermarkets. We are disappointed in what's happening because with
us -- market fruits and vegetables have lost the flavor we experienced
long ago. Sad, sad, sad!
The result from our love for nature and its
creatures is now affecting our lives in ways, never imagined! Sitting
under the blossoming and fragrant trees and seeing the flowers blooming
-- we experience a strange sense of mysticism too awesome to discern --
such as in phenomenon! (Hard to explain!)
Trying our best to distinguish the imagined from
reality isn't easy; especially when one perceives a strange sense,
(Paranormal?) of energy force around us. Like being within an aura --
emanating from the crafting stones, plants and trees. ---- Strange for
us indeed!
We placed the crafting stones (small boulders) Rudy
traded for, around our gardens and trees, later to be transformed into
peace pipe bowls. Somehow from all that combination of energy, (Stones
and plant life) we sense what we interpret as spiritualness! It is so
exhilarating that we can't help sharing such an experience with folks
around the world trading with us on Ebay; especially with folks who
love to craft!
The atmosphere all around us, especially while
sitting in our patio, under the spreading leafy (huge leaves) branches
of our fig tree, (sprouting figs) next to a pomegranate (with a
profusion of bright red blossoms) and fragrant (white blossoms) lemon
tree; we sense something simply too wonderful to express.
Within that frame of mind, we feel energized
seemingly by an energy force (Spiritual?) connection that fills our
minds with great ideas about appreciating all life forms. Especially in
what they mean and how important they are to us for achieving greater
happiness in life.
We visit daily with our created family of animals,
plants and trees. (Yes, we talk to them!) We thank them all for helping
us feel so wonderful and make sure they (animals) are fed daily and
provide the nutrients for plants and trees including plenty of water as
we live in an arid area with very little rainfall.
The ultimate folks! Is it an on-going paranormal
(Phenomenon!) experience? Is there something extraordinary in noticing
- the intelligence and love within animals, plants and trees? Or is it
all imagination? What about the love we sense from them in return?
Isn't life simply wonderful?---------- For us it is! :)
