Hello, and thank you for visiting our items and reading more about us. Apologia Book Shoppe has been in the retail mail order business since 1995, and with an internet store since 1997. We find and carry some of the best material we can find from both larger and smalled publishers, artists, musicians, etc. to bring you what can sometimes be harder to find items.
We are a Christian owned and managed company, seeking always to operate with a high ethical standard when it comes to both materials and service. We try hard to keep our costs and fees fair, and provide top notch and speedy service.

Concerning our products, we have a two fold specialty at the Apologia Book Shoppe:
1. Theological
We carry Christian material, most of which is not as common or "main stream," meaning you won't find it in most walk-in Christian book stores, so not as easily found outside of the internet. While we do carry a much wider range of products through our normal non-eBay store, our eBay store features mainly hot new releases, close outs, or some of the more rare hard to find, and sometimes controversial titles.
2. Historical
We also carry a wide selection of mostly pro-Southern/Confederate, and general Civil War related books, music, etc. Again, we have a much wider selection on our normal site, but tend to feature the new titles and close-outs on our eBay store.

Now for the always exciting shipping rules, etc.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ! BEFORE EMAILING ME, PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION BELOW, IT ANSWERS THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS I GET ASKED, AND MAY ANSWER YOURS TOO. THANKS!! Unless otherwise indicated, all products we sell are brand new, and are official releases, purchased directly from the distributor. Due to the nature of the media, return of opened product is only allowed if the item is proven to be defective (manufacture defect); and the return will be exchanged for identical item only. Postage to return item will be buyer's responsibility, but we will refund it with your exchange.
RETURNS: If, in some pre-approved case, a refund is authorized, refund will be for purchase price only, not including any shipping or handling cost. Before returning an item for any reason, please be sure to contact us first about the issue so we can consider the issue and run through some options before the item is returned, and we can issue you the return authorization. If an item is damaged in shipment, and no insurance was purchased, there is nothing we can do about it, and this does not qualify as a "defective" product. SHIPPING COSTS: Payment in full is expected within 10 days after the close of transaction. Failure to pay will result in negative feedback and re-listing of the item. Each item has a shipping cost which is automatically calculated through the US Postal Service calculator, giving an accurate shipping cost for the item(s) weight. There is a small additional handling fee to cover items like mailing materials and other fees associated with your order. And YES! - we do offer combined shipping and handling discounts for multiple item's purchased, and that too is automatically calculated at the time you checkout to pay. SHIPPING TIME The listed quantity available in the auction does NOT necessarily equate to number of items actually on hand. We are a mail order store that not only sells here on eBay, but also through our main store site, and often times at local events. Therefore the quantity on hand is constantly changing. However, most all items we carry can be restocked within a few days, unless some unforseen and very rare circumstance happens beyond our control. For US PayPal payers, we process shipping labels through the Paypal shipping feature, and you will therefore receive an email notification at the time we print the label (as long as your payment email address is correct, that is). So, while most items get shipped very quickly, often the very next mailing day, but usually always within just a few days of purchase, there are those occasions when it might take a bit longer. Therefore, please allow 7-10 business days to receive shipping notification before contacting us with questions on shipping. This PayPal email notification will provide you with a Delivery Confirmation tracking number. As long as the US Post Office does there job of scanning the bar code in a timely fashion, this tracking information will give you a rough estimate where the package has been last. However, it has been my experience that not all of our postal carriers properly scan our items upon pick-up, so often the tracking page lists that the carrier has been notified to expect the item, but they not recorded receiving it. Unfortunately we have no control over this, and while we have reported and complained about it, nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Here is our guarantee though: we never process or print a mailing label until the package is sealed and ready to drop in the mail box. Therefore - if you received the notification email, rest assured, the package will be in the mail no later than the very next mailing date from that time. So, regardless of what the tracking screen says...it is, as they say, "in the mail." International customers, we almost always have to manually take and ship your packages through the post office directly, so you will rarely if ever receive the email notification. While many of our items are mailed Air Mail, regarless, most international orders need to please allow as long as 4-7 weeks to receive you (though it rarely takes that long, that is what they tell us to expect at the post office counter). Unless you want to pay very high costs to ship your items, international orders are not trackable once they leave the US, so please don't write asking me where the item is and why you have not received it...because I have no way of knowing once it leaves my possession...sorry. I wish I had more control over the timeliness of the US and foreign post office handling times, but I don't. We usually go to the post office once a week for such international packages, so aside from the above mentioned shipping/restocking issues, your item will go out usually within a week of your order.
