How and why Aprilshowersbyapril opened up to the public and a little about me


One of my many wedding sets

I decided to open Aprilshowersbyapril.com after I got married. I was an accountant for most of my life but missed the creativity I had with owning my own store. I have been sewing since I was 5 years old and have always made beautiful items.  I also missed the time I could spend with my three sons. This was a way to do both!

 
A very Special order

After seeing the limited selection of mostly White or Ivory basic wedding items I decided it was time for a change!  I had a fall wedding and couldn’t find a thing! After designing most of my accessories and getting all of the compliments from so many people, the orders started coming in! I decided that there was a real need for specialty custom made wedding accessories! I custom make almost everything and add to my items all the time. If you dream it up it I will do my best to make it real for you! A wedding should be a reflection of you and that is what I try to accomplish.  Using only the finest materials in rich colors and combinations, I create items for you! Read my feedback!  I have only happy brides and hope to keep it that way!

 

I have seen some of my designs being copied by several stores recently. It is sad that custom made items and designs are stolen by others instead of those designers coming up with new ideas.

Please do not be fooled by these imitations.  I work many long late days to come up with new designs and color combinations.
