Welcome to my About Me page, and thanks for stopping by! This Woman's Work is a California-based company that offers childbirth support and supplies. Our specialty lies in waterbirth, but our product base is growing by the week- much like a pregnant person! If you're in the Monterey/Salinas/Carmel area, you can glean from the services we offer: doula care and spa kit rentals for pregnancy, labor and/or birth. Otherwise, check out our eBay auctions or our website to find all the other fun stuff we've got. Right now our line's most prominent product is The New Native Baby Carrier, but you will soon be seeing all kinds of cool stuff for pregnant and brand new families. Enjoy!

This Woman's Work was an endeavour that began when sparked by the amazing birth experiences of me, Carri Newhouse in August 1999 and again in November 2002. From there, it all grew and grows evermore. Most women will move on after pregnancy into infancy and toddlerhood. I, however, have become a bonafide birth junkie and will go to great lengths to rub shoulders for and with any motherbaby smart enough to ask for it.
