Aquariaglass is a my one woman lampwork studio in Burbank, CA. All beads shown are made by me, Darlene Hayes. I am a member of Self Representing Artists, H93, and League of Lampwork Artists #60. I specialize in odd lot colors and specialty glasses. I am rarely drawn to simple colors, although I do incorporate them in my work - their true beauty is emphasized by the addition of a bit of this or that! I occasionally find myself in a basic color and theme, but those moments are few and far between.
Because I'm constantly searching for new color combinations, my work changes all the time. I often think of remaking certain colors or themes, but rarely do so as I am always eager to try my newest ideas. So if you see a certain design you like, grab it, because I probably won't repeat it. This is the incredibly diverse and never boring art of lampwork beadmaking.
