Antique Radio Inc Coil Winding Services


Antique Radios Inc can rewind your Atwater Kent Breadboard coils. We use double wound cotton covered copper wire which was manufactured specifically for this application. We dye the wire to closely match Atwater Kent Breadboard coils that you currently see today. Note that the original Atwater Kent Breadboards used an olive green color. You very seldom see this today because the wire has faded to a brown color. We can dye the wire to practically any desired color however we strongly recommend the teal brown with a touch of olive green.

ARBE-III UNIVERSAL BATTERY ELIMINATOR



For those of you that are interested in actually playing the pre 1930's battery operated radios, you should consider the purchase of an ARBE-III, Universal Battery Eliminator. This is a product that has been manufactured since 1988 and is backed with a full five year warranty.

Provides all the commonly used voltages required to operate most radios requiring battery power. Three electrically isolated power sources are derived from a custom wound power transformer designed specifically for this application. For more details, visit our web site at:
