Opening its doors in 1930, Arrow Safety Device Co. has had a long, rich history in the transportation industry, from developing the very first practical turn signal system to engineering today's government regulated requirements, Arrow has been committed to supplying its professional customers with the best products in the market. In 1930, a small plant was opened in the heart of Medford, NJ. It was here, a band of dreamers worked together to create effective products that not only increased public safety, but also made the customer proud. Yes, proud that they were doing their part supporting American Industries during the Depression.

In the 1940's & 50's, Arrow continued expanding its line becoming one of the largest vehicle safety product manufacturers in the United Satates.

In the late 1960's, with the creation of the Department of Transportation, Arrow had a role in establishing SAE requirements which would ultimately be adopted by the Federal DOT to become legal requirements. Already DOT approved, Arrow's Lamps introduced a smooth transition.

By the early 1970's, Arrow had raised the bar on industry standards, some of which are still used today. One such product was the uniquely superior Snowplow Lamp called "The Sno-Laser". This inventive design earned the Sno-Laser a U.S. Patent. This tried and true Snowplow Lamp is still widely used today because of its many features, most notably is the all-aluminum housing.

Into the 1980's and 90's the product line was expanded with the advent of newer technologies in the lighting field. Arrow developed another snowplow lamp that was widely used by different snowplow manufacturers. The 1990's also saw the development of several LED lamps. Going into the 21st century, Arrow launched the only manufacturer direct website capable of allowing the customer to order and purchase products from the comfort of thie own homes and businesses. For 2009, Arrow is introducing a new snowplow lamp with groundbreaking features such as an LED turn signal and shock-absorbing mounting bracket.
