About the Artist:
Donna Francis is an Internationally Recognized Artist in realism paintings and drawings. Her work has been featured in various magazines including International Artist, Wildlife Art, and North Light Books. Her work has also been shown at the Denver Botanical Gardens, Pikes Peak Public Library, and Colorado Springs Fine Art Center, as well as several local showings.

Her career began in the mid 80's where she attended the Crealde School of Arts in Florida. She then graduated as a commercial artist from Orlando College. She also attended schools in San Diego, California, and Colorado Springs. She has a reputation as a dynamic and gifted artist and instructor.

About the Artwork:
Although Donna works mostly with oils, acrylic, watercolors - she has also accomplished works with pastel, and drawings. As her paintings suggest, she loves nature including animals, fauna, and birds - it shows with her beautiful celebration of her spirit in her artwork. Her realistic paintings show the dimension of her depth and talent.

"I remember when I was a little girl, nothing was better than a brand new coloring book and box of crayons, things haven't changed much... I only replaced those with paints & canvas instead.
