Let me introduce myself. My name is Debbie. I am the mother of two wonderful boys and many many critters. My love of animals and nature took me on a different path when I got pregnant with my first son. I started painting 13 years ago and never stopped.

Since that time I have taken several classes and attended conventions to perfect my craft. I belong to local painting chapters along with The National Society of Decorative Painters.

I love to create beautiful things and soon started doing many crafts shows. I was an instant success with many repeat customers. I create original art along with recreating other artists original patterns. Both are meticulously hand painted by me. I love to share my work with others and find it quite satisfying when they love my work as well..

You will find a lot of hand painted glassware in my auctions. I would like to explain the technique to assure you of getting a quality product. The glass is cleanned with vinegar before painting. This removes all dirt and oil off the glass so the paint will adhere. Then the actual painting process which include several layers of paint. Each layer has to dry before the next is applied. The item then has to cure for at least 24 hours to allow the paint to harden. After this the item is them baked in the oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour and allowed to cool. The paint is then durable enough to withstand a dishwasher. I recommend hand washing but be confident it can be put in the diswasher. When purchasing my glassware I do include washing directions in the package.

Painting is my absolute passion. Along with it I love to sew and quilt. Sometimes I try to combine the two.
