Each Year, I donate over $3,000. worth of artwork to Greyhound Rescue, Whippet Rescue, Italian Greyhound Rescue and Other Adoption Groups who are trying to make a difference for the Good. These Rescue Groups, in turn, offer the items I donate for their fundraising auctions, raffles and picnics and have raised much more funds for great causes then I could have ever imagined. It is wonderful to know, through art, so many hearts can be enlightened and that so many Souls can be saved.
Each One of us has a purpose-Since 1997 My Purpose is to spread the word about Rescue and Adoption through my Art. It's most important for me to let folks know that all the artwork is made here in my small studio-start to finish. From the concept and artwork design to the finished art product-it is all done by one person, who also answers all your emails and packs and ships your finished artwork. I strive to provide personable service and unique art.
In 1997 I lost my wonderful friend and love, 'Scottie", a rescued whippet. He became ill very suddenly with liver disease. During the time of his illness I started doing artwork with his image and all the while, Scottie never left my side. When he left this world, I was lost. I decided then to dedicate the rest of my life to capturing the emotional relationship we have with these wonderful Souls. I am a self-taught artist working in many mediums from my small studio. As mentioned earlier, everything is made here, one-at-a-time from start to finish by me, with supervision from my rescue 'kids'. (If only I could teach them to pack and ship!)
I am Blessed to have these Wonderful Souls (my rescue kids)In my life. And I thank Heaven for everyday I am priviledged to share my life with them. They continue to inspire my artwork with their Unconditional Love. Thank you.
My Porcelains
The Art of Porcelain Painting was brought to this country from Germany in the late 19th Century. My Porcelains are mostly painted using Antique China Paints
because of their high gold content. The pigments are rich and full.The Porcelains are kiln fired many times. These Porcelains will last a lifetime and more. And all of my hand-painted Porcelains are Original and One-of-a-Kind!
