Welcome!
I am Arwen Nightstar.
I've been reading the Tarot since 1985 and professionally since 1987. My goal is to foster a relationship between my client and myself so that we can work together to solve problems and address personal issues. My clientele includes people from all walks of life. I hope you will preview my feedback before bidding!
Arwen's Code of Ethics for Tarot Consulting
- I will serve the best interests of my clients, conducting my professional activities without causing or intending to cause harm.
- I will treat all my clients with equal respect, regardless of their origin, race, religion, gender, age, or sexual preference.
- I will represent honestly my Tarot qualifications, including educational credentials and levels of certification.
- I will keep confidential the names of clients and all information shared or discussed during readings, unless otherwise requested by the client or required by a court of law.
- I will recommend clients consult a licensed professional for advice of a legal, financial, medical, or psychological nature that I am not qualified to provide. If trained in one of these areas, I will clearly differentiate between the tarot reading and any professional advice additionally provided.
- I will respect my clients' right to refuse or terminate their reading at any time, regardless of prior consent.
- I recognize that all ATA members have the same rights and obligations, and I will always respect and honor my co-members.
- I will not undercut my fellow Tarot Consultants financially.
- I will report any and all underhanded Tarot Consultants to the proper authorities.
- I will respect my self and my own abilities by refusing to read for those who are not willing to work on themselves.
- I will continually work on educating myself on the many layers of the Tarot by taking courses, teaching course, reading books and writing books as well as participating in discussions whenever possible.
The above is the Code of Ethics that every member of the American Tarot Association subscribes to. As a member of ATA, I hold to the first seven as described by the ATA. The rest are my own pledges to you, my clients.
I specialize in creating my own spreads. You can often find me selling:
- Bagua Spread
- Based on the Feng Shui idea that our homes are split into nine areas, this associates two cards per areas such as career, family, love, and more. You will receive advice on the nine areas as well as have a chance to ask clarification questions on your choice of two of the areas. Eighteen cards total.
- Chakra Spread
- This is a very hard hitting eleven card spread and I do NOT recommend it if you are not willing to do some digging into your own soul. It has routinely made people cry. It looks at the 7 main chakras (Root, Belly, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, Crown, as well as four minor chakras. You will have the opportunity to ask clarification questions on two of the chakras of your choice.
- Getting Ready For Love
- Are you seeking a partnership? Are you tired of finding Mr or Ms Not Quite Right? This spread is designed to see what YOU need to do to clean house for that new person. Too often we focus on the external when we need to be looking at the internal. You will have the opportunity to ask two clarification questions. Some of the things asked in this nine card spread are
- What do I need to do to get ready for love arrival?
- What will be my clue that this is the right person?
- Finding Your Muse
- This is one of my writer's specialty spreads but can be applied to any artist who feels that their Muse has taken the last bus to Clarksville. We will explore what you are doing to hold yourself back and where you will receive unexpected help. As with all my spreads, you will recieve two clarifications. This spread is a twelve card spread.
Feel free to ask me about other spreads that I use. If you are a writer, I invite you to try one of my specialty spreads designed specifically for the craft of fiction writing. I also have a specialty line of spreads based on well-known as well as lesser-known fairy tales. |
