To begin....ASPCS is our eBay user ID. No, it's not an acronym...just initials. I tried to create a clever name when I created the account many years ago, but did something wrong. My eBay user ID ended up being my ENTIRE email address. YIKES! At some point, the ISP (internet service provider) part was omitted, but I just decided to leave the beginning part "as is." Missing Pieces Mission is our eBay store name with its contents being full of items no longer in production from the 50's to the present. You know, those "missing pieces" that you've been searching for over the years.
We've been selling on eBay for about nine years. Discontinued stainless flatware is our specialty...and my primary focus. There are two of us...one of us is the backbone of the store, "me", and the other is my helpful, hardworking, partner. Take a look at our store categories and you will see that we have a passion for just about anything vintage. I have LOTS of flatware...oh, and did I mention vintage, train cases?? PLEASE contact us via "question for seller" through any current auction/listing if there is something in particular that you are looking for....flatware, or anything else. We will see if we have it in stock, create a store listing if we do, and let you know. We will keep your request on file in the event that we currently do not have it in stock, drop you an email when we do, and get it listed on eBay. Please don't ask us to sell something outside of eBay, because that is a major eBay violation and we just won't do it...plain and simple.
Our objective is to accurately describe all items to the best of our ability. We believe that we have consistently been doing just that. Please remember that almost all of our items are vintage, so they are going to have some signs of wear from usage/storage over the years. That is, please ask questions if you are very particular as to how something looks, or how it would blend with something you already own....we can always add another photo, or send one to your directly. We'd prefer to resolve a potential problem "sooner" rather than "later."
Please contact us if there is any type of problem and we will work with you to resolve the issue. We always have and alway will. Emails are checked multiple times on a daily basis, but please remember that a situation (although rare) may arise where you might not receive a response for a day, or two. Remember, you WILL receive a response. In the rare situation of a return....you will receive it via PayPal for the cost of the item and the cost of outgoing shipping . You will be responsible for the cost of shipping it back to us. We pack VERY WELL and pride ourselves on it. We're easy to get along with and enjoy selling on eBay. Remember, life is short, so eBay should be fun! Enjoy!
Concerning shipping outside of the U.S.....I currently have any buyers outside of the US "blocked." No, that does not mean that I refuse to sell to anyone outiside of the U.S. I am more than happy to do so provided that the item is small and lightweight. I really like to sell flatware internationally, because it can be shipped at a relatively low cost. It's large, bulky, heavy packages that unfortunately, invlolve high shipping rates, or even size restrictions. So, if you live outside of the U.S. and would like to buy something....send me an email and I can quote you the shipping rate and add you to a blocked buyer "exemption list", so that you can readily make your purchase.
P.S. All of our items are clean and come from a non-smoking home with no shedding pets. Yes, an old, yet barky, Wire Hair Fox terrier lives here, but don't tell her that she's a dog....she has no clue.
